Schedule: Monday to Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Salary Amount or Range: $40-$45/hour D.O.E. + Standard benefits (paid vacation, sick days, holidays)
Children: 14-months and 3.5 years old
Pets: 2 cats at SF residence only

Description
Travel dates: end of December (after Christmas) through early February
A family in Noe Valley is seeking a travel nanny/educator for their two young boys, ages 1 and 3.5 years old. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a teaching background who would enjoy spending time in Asia! The family would like this person to start end of December for approximately one-two weeks in SF and then accompany them to Asia through early February at the grandparents’ home (they are flexible to adjust the length of the contract based on candidate’s availability). Responsibilities include all child-related care: planning activities and outings, laundry, light tidying, and preparing meals and snacks.
The family is prioritizing candidates with teaching experience and/or ECE Certification and fluency in English. Accommodations when traveling include a private bedroom and bathroom.
Experience Requirements
- 2 years minimum related experience with excellent verifiable references
Educational Requirements
- Fluency in English
- Must have teaching experience and/or ECE certification
Qualifications
- COVID-vaccination (nice to have but not required)
- TB and Tdap
- CPR Certified
- Valid driver with clean record (family can provide household vehicle for work-related driving)
- Flexibility and willingness to travel within/outside the US
- Must have teaching experience and/or ECE certification

- Educational and engaging
- Playful
- Comfortable with cats (the cats only reside in SF and do not travel with the family)
Responsibilities
- Actively participate and seek out ways to nurture and promote the children’s development
- Plan age-appropriate activities and outings
- Prepare children’s meals and snacks
- Child laundry
- Assist with developmental/travel transitions (nap schedule, etc.)
- Light tidying (nursery as well as common/play areas)
- Packing for travel
