Description

Property size: 2,500 sq. ft. main home + ADU | 5 Bedrooms | 6 Bathrooms
Our clients are seeking a meticulous, proactive full charge housekeeper to maintain their active family home. You will be responsible for the daily upkeep, laundry, and light kitchen prep for a family of five (two adults and three children ages 12, 10, and 7).
The family has a deep-cleaning service once a month for heavy tasks, the ideal candidate will ensure the home remains guest-ready, organized, and running smoothly on a daily basis.

Experience Requirements

2 or more years of experience working in a private home with great references.

Educational Requirements

Fluency in English

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Housekeeper in a private residence.
  • Ability to maximize the 4-hour window to ensure all daily tasks are completed before the kids arrive home.
  • A clean-as-you-go mentality, especially regarding kitchen hygiene and laundry organization.
  • Comfortable working in a home with school-aged children.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain 5 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms across the main house and ADU.
  • Extensive cleaning of the kitchen (mom is an avid cook). This includes wiping counters, organizing surfaces, and managing two dishwashers to ensure the kitchen remains uncluttered.
  • Regular dusting and cleaning of high-traffic areas
  • Wash, dry, and fold clothing for five family members
  • Change bedding for all beds once every two weeks. (Note: Large comforters are handled by an outside service)
  • Occasional ironing of dresses or formal wear as needed
  • Retrieve lunch containers when kids return at 3:00 PM; wash and prep containers for the following day
  • Assist with light food prep tasks to help the family stay organized for the next day’s meals.
