Salary Amount or Range: $45-$53/hour D.O.E. + Standard benefits (paid vacation, sick days, holidays)

Description

A busy family in Noe Valley is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Household Assistant to support the smooth running of their home. Both parents are working, and while they have two young children (ages 5 and 6), this role is primarily focused on household support rather than childcare.

The ideal candidate is proactive, enjoys cooking, and takes pride in maintaining a well-functioning home. Responsibilities include running errands, family laundry, grocery shopping and other misc. errands, meal prep for family dinners, and keeping common areas neat and organized. The family has a deep cleaner, so duties are limited to light housekeeping such as dishes, vacuuming, and general tidying.

Experience Requirements

• 2 years minimum experience as a Household Assistant with excellent verifiable references

Educational Requirements

• Fluency in English

Qualifications

• COVID-vaccinated
• TB, MMR, and Tdap
• CPR Certified
• Valid driver with clean record (family can provide household car for work-related driving)
• Professional with excellent work ethic
• Comfortable with dogs
• Punctual and reliable
• Attention to detail
• Excellent communicator
• Enjoys cooking and food prep
• Can make at least a year commitment

Responsibilities

• Laundry for the family
• Grocery shopping
• Light food preparation for family dinner
• Household organization
• Running misc. local errands
• Light tidying: vacuuming, dishes, managing trash/recycling, straightening up children’s rooms, play areas and common areas, and changing linens (they have a deep cleaner)
