A family in Kentfield is seeking a career nanny to care for their 8-month-old child. Their ideal candidate will provide attentive, engaging, and developmentally appropriate childcare. The nanny will be responsible for creating the child’s schedule in advance including local activities, child meal prep, laundry, and tidying.

Candidates should have prior experience traveling with families and are adept at managing schedule chages with professionalism. The family travels often (more than 10x per year). Travel is domestic and international and trips are typically 1-3 weeks.

Ultimately the best person for them is someone adaptable, who works well in a team, is polished, discrete, and an excellent communicator. Prior experience working in a multi-staffed home is required. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for longevity.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience working as a nanny with excellent verifiable references
• Longevity in prior positions (3+ years)

Educational Requirements

• Flueny in English

• COVID-vaccinated
• TB and Tdap
• CPR Certified
• Valid driver with clean record (family will possibly have a household car for work-related driving but will reimburse for mileage if candidate uses personal vehicle)
• Must be available for travel as needed
• Familiar with the area and child-friendly activities offered
• Neat, tidy
• Warm, engaging, and present
• Excellent communication
• High EQ
• Calm and collaborative; works well with a team and is very discrete
• Seeking a long-term commitment (family is looking for longevity)
