Description

A busy family of five in Alamo with 3 young children ages 6, 5, and 2 are seeking a meticulous, reliable, and proactive Housekeeper for their 5,000-square-foot, two-level residence.

Experience Requirements

2 or more years of experience working in a private home with great references

Educational Requirements

Fluency in English

Qualifications

• Proven experience working as a professional housekeeper in a large-scale private residences (5,000+ sq. ft.).

• Understanding of how to properly care for hardwood and granite

• Comfortable working in a vibrant home environment with young children and a small dog.

• Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently within a 5-hour window, and maintain a highly professional, discreet presence.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning hardwood floors, area rugs, and granite countertops

• Daily upkeep of the main active spaces: 3 consistently used bedrooms, 1 home office, a dedicated playroom, and the bathrooms in regular use (out of 5 total baths).

• Straightening up common areas, resetting the playroom, loading/unloading the dishwasher, and clearing kitchen counters

• Tackling rotating deep-cleaning projects (baseboards, inside appliances, blinds, cabinet fronts) during quieter hours.

• Managing daily loads of clothing, linens, and towels

• Folding, sorting, and putting away laundry cleanly into designated closets and drawers.

• Note: There are no ironing responsibilities required for this position.

• Monitoring and communicating when cleaning supplies and household essentials run low.
