Position: PT Engaging and Positive Nanny Needed in West Portal
Schedule: Monday, Tuesday & Thursday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM | 27 guaranteed hours/week (open to additional day for the right candidate)
Salary Amount or Range: $40-45hr DOE + Standard benefits (paid vacation, sick days, holidays)

A sweet family near West Portal is looking for a loving, experienced part-time professional nanny 3 days/week for their 2-year-old and 2 month old. The family is looking for someone who genuinely loves working with young children and would like to become a trusted, long-term part of the family.

Schedule: Monday, Tuesday & Thursday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM | 27 guaranteed hours/week, open to an additional day for the right person
Monday: Primarily infant care (toddler is at preschool)
Tuesday & Thursday: Care for 1–2 children, depending on the schedule
Schedule may occasionally vary for school holidays or family needs

Experience Requirements

• 2 years minimum related experience with excellent verifiable references
• Longevity in previous nanny roles

Educational Requirements

Fluent in English
French speaking a plus but not required

Qualifications

Highly engaging, kind, empathetic, energetic, positive, and patient
Experienced with both infants and toddlers, ideally children close in age
Comfortable caring for two young children
Reliable, communicative, and proactive
Enjoys getting out of the house with the kids for walks, playgrounds, classes, etc.
Able to follow routines while bringing energy and creativity to the children’s day
Up to date on required vaccinations
Non-smoker

Responsibilities

Feeding, diapering, naps, and maintaining routines
Infant and toddler play, activities, outings, and age-appropriate learning
Preparing meals/snacks for children
Children’s laundry and tidying up after the kids
