Position: Playful & Loving Nanny / Family Assistant for 18-month-old in Presidio Heights
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. (some flexibility on how hours are dispersed; e.g. Mon/Tues full day and Wed-Fri half day)
Salary Amount or Range: $45-$50/hour D.O.E. + Standard benefits (paid vacation, sick days, holidays)

A warm, welcoming family in Presidio Heights is seeking a playful, reliable nanny/family assistant who feels like a true extension of their family. They have an 18-month-old girl who loves arts and crafts so they’d love to find a person who excels at planning age appropriate activities, with emphasis on outdoor play, art, reading, and music. Someone who is an expert with infant / toddler schedules and milestones, who is bubbly, and gets down at their daughter’s level.

Responsibilities include a combination of childcare and household tasks such as family laundry, meal prep/simple cooking for the family, light tidying and organizing, and running errands.

Their daughter’s speech is delayed and she is starting speech therapy; it’s important to find someone who is kind and actively engages in conversation with her.

Experience Requirements

• 2 years minimum experience working as a nanny / family assistant with excellent verifiable references

Educational Requirements

• Fluency in English
• Fluency in Spanish (nice to have, but not required)

Qualifications

• COVID-vaccinated and ideally boosted
• TB and Tdap vaccine
• CPR Certified
• Valid driver with clean record (family house one household car which they can sometimes provide, otherwise they will reimburse for mileage)
• Warm, playful, reliable person who feels like a true extension of the family
• Excels at planning age appropriate activities, with emphasis on outdoor play, art, and reading
• Expert with infant + toddler schedules and milestones
• Bubbly and engages in conversation with child
• Someone especially interested in music and art is a plus
• Energetic
• Implements new routines based on parent preferences and anticipates next stages and offers suggestions
