Schedule: Monday to Friday 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Salary Amount or Range: $40/hour D.O.E. + Standard benefits (paid vacation, sick days, holidays)
Children: 16-months, 5 and 8 years old
Pets: 1 x cat

Description
Portola Valley family is seeking a long-term nanny for their sweet 16-month-old baby, as well as afternoon care for their two well-mannered school-aged children (ages 5 and 8 years old). Care is primarily for their infant, but they do need help with their older children when they get home from school. They’d love someone engaging who excels at planning age-appropriate activities to foster their baby’s development. Their ideal candidate is a native Spanish speaker and someone who is staying up-to-date and vigilant about COVID protocols and vaccinations.
Experience Requirements
- 3 years minimum working in a private home as a nanny with verifiable references
Educational Requirements
- Fluency in English
- Fluency in Spanish
Qualifications
- CPR certified
- COVID, TB and Tdap vaccinated
- Experience with infants and school-age children
- Warm, kind, friendly
- Energetic and active / enjoys being outdoors
- Comfortable with cats
- COVID-cautious
Responsibilities
- Engaging with baby and planning age-appropriate activities
- Kids’ laundry as needed
- Kids’ dinners and snacks (simple, healthy food)
- Bath and bedtime routines
- Engage in indoor/outdoor play
Skills
- Experience working with school-age children
