Position: Active, Organized Afternoon Nanny for Two Boys (7 and 10) in Hillsborough
Schedule: Monday – Friday 2:30p-6/7p but can guarantee up to 30 hours (1-7p) especially with addition of admin tasks
Salary Amount or Range: $45-$50/hour D.O.E. + Standard benefits (paid vacation, sick days, holidays)

A family in Hillsborough is seeking an active, engaging nanny for their two boys who are 7 and 10 years old. They have a chef/housekeeper who does the cooking, laundry, and errands so this role is solely focused on the kids. Responsibilities include school pick-up, driving to activities, creating structure in the kids’ routine and ensuring they have time for play and homework, overseeing/assisting with schoolwork and ensuring it’s completed, and some admin (updating the kids’ calendar, staying on top of school events, scheduling activities).

The best person for them is energetic, likes to be on the go, and is organized. Someone who genuinely invests time in getting to know the kids and earning their trust will be the best fit.

Experience Requirements

• 2 years minimum experience working as a private nanny with excellent verifiable references

Educational Requirements

• Fluency in English

Qualifications

• TB and Tdap vaccine
• CPR Certified
• Valid driver with clean record (family provides household vehicle for work-related driving)
• Experienced with older kids 7 years old – tweens
• High energy level; likes to be on the move
• Excellent at creating structure in kids’ schedules
• Active, energetic
• Comfortable working to earn the trust of children
• Engaging
• Can make at least a year commitment

Responsibilities

• Pick up from school
• Driving to activities/home
• Engaging in play
• Creating structure and balancing time for play, development, and homework
• Homework assistance; checking to make sure schoolwork is being completed
• Admin – updating kids’ calendar, planning activities, staying on top of school events, etc.
• Help children stay on top of their responsibilities
• Family has a chef/housekeeper who does the cooking, laundry, errands, etc.
