Description

Two busy working professionals are seeking their forever nanny to care for their son who will be six months old at start date. This position would start ASAP. Mom is returning to work from maternity leave. This family would love an experienced nanny who has worked long-term for families and is knowledgeable and confident caring for infants and confident in child development milestones. They are looking for someone who wants to grow with the family. A nanny who has an easy-going spirit, is kind and compassionate would be a good fit for this role. This family would love someone is attentive to their son and will help create a fun learning environment for him.

A Nanny who is bilingual in Spanish is a plus but is not required. Responsibilities include light housekeeping, child laundry, and anything related to the child such as tidying up the nursery, bottle cleaning, etc.

Experience Requirements

• 3-5 years minimum working as a private nanny with verifiable references

Educational Requirements

• Fluency in English
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus, but not required

Qualifications

• Must be CPR Certified
• Must have up-to-date vaccines: Covid, T-dap and TB
• Must be comfortable with dogs
• Open to travel
• Very experienced with newborns
• Flexible, upbeat and positive attitude
• Genuinely loves working with children
• Can make a long-term commitment and grow with family

Responsibilities

• All child-related care (feeding, napping, bathing, dressing, etc.)
• Prepare, sanitize and wash bottles
• Lead transitions (to solids, implementing schedules, etc.)
• Child’s laundry
• Light housekeeping
• Help out with household as needed

Skills

• Background or interest in Early Childhood Education
• Familiar with developmental stages (newborn-toddler)
• Excellent communication skills
