Position: Active, Reliable FT Nanny for 11-month-old in Palo Alto
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. (flexible to occasionally work extended hours)
Salary Amount or Range: $38-$42/hour D.O.E. + Standard benefits (paid vacation, sick days, holidays) + health stipend
Children: 11-month-old girl

A family in Palo Alto is seeking a full-time nanny to take care of our energetic 11-month-old daughter. The nanny will be responsible for taking care of her basic needs, promoting her development through play, and light baby-related cleaning (meal cleanup, laundry, tidying play areas). Their ideal candidate is energetic, engaging, and comfortable with parents working from home (they love spending time with their daughter and enjoy having lunch with her during the day). Ultimately the best person for them is someone who is reliable, can easily keep up with a toddler, and has flexibility to occasionally work extended hours when one parent is traveling (usually twice a year).
Experience Requirements
- 2 years minimum experience working as a nanny with excellent verifiable references
Educational Requirements
- Fluency in English
Qualifications
- COVID-vaccinated and boosted + willingness to update the booster
- MMR, TB and Tdap
- CPR Certified
- Valid driver with clean record
- Comfortable with parents working from home; they like to have lunch with their daughter during the day or check in between meetings
- Flexibility to occasionally work additional hours when one parent is traveling
- Active and energetic; can easily keep up with a growing toddler
- Reliable
- Can make a year commitment
