Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1:00 PM–9:00 PM
Salary Amount or Range: $50-$60/hour D.O.E. + Standard benefits (paid vacation, sick days, holidays)
Children: Four children, ages 9–16
Pets: 25-lb Golden Doodle

Start Date: Ideally by September 14

A family in Redwood City is seeking a nanny to care for their four children, ages 9-16 years old. Responsibilities include driving the children from school to activities, running errands, simple cooking and meal prep, light tidying, homework help, and occasional overnights. The family is looking for someone who can become a trusted and valued part of the household, so personality, maturity, discretion and the ability to work well with the family are just as important as the practical requirements.

Experience Requirements

• 2 years minimum experience working as a nanny with excellent verifiable references

Educational Requirements

• Fluency in English
• Fluency in Arabic (nice to have)

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
• CPR certified
• Comfortable handling school pick-ups and drop-offs
• Warm, personable, patient and engaging
• Highly discreet and respectful of the family’s privacy

Responsibilities

• Driving children to extracurricular activities
• Errands and family-related shopping
• Light cooking and meal preparation
• Light household support, including tidying, dishes and laundry
• Helping with light schoolwork/homework
• Occasional overnight stays when the parents travel
