Position: Afternoon Family Assistant Needed in San Francisco for 10-year-old
Schedule: Mon – Friday 12-7pm
Salary Amount or Range: $50/hr-$60/hr D.O.E. on Payroll + PTO, Paid Holidays, sick days, $300/mon medical and 401k
Children: Twins (teens) and 10 year old boy
Pets: 1 x friendly python (no pet care required)

A family in San Francisco is seeking a PT Family Assistant to help with afterschool childcare for their three children (teenage twins and a 10-year-old boy) but primary care is for their youngest.

The afternoon schedule for their 10-year-old consists of pickup, driving to after school activities/support programs (OT, martial arts, play dates, and appointments in Oakland) at home zoom sessions, etc. They are really into biking, Fortnite, outdoor activities and playing with friends.

They are looking for someone positive and fun who can encourage time outside!

Experience Requirements

• 2 years minimum experience working as a Family Assistant with excellent verifiable references

Educational Requirements

• Fluency in English

Qualifications

• COVID-vaccinated

• CPR Certified

• Valid driver with clean record (must have own reliable vehicle for work-related driving)

• Fun and engaging

• Enjoys being outdoors

• Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

• Driving to/from school and activities

• Keeping their son organized

• Scheduling play dates

• Planning outdoor activities

• Light tidying

• Light meal prep/cooking for their son

• Additional tasks could include: errands, grocery shopping, organization projects, research projects, helping with returns, basic meal prep, receiving deliveries, purchasing gifts
