Position: Afternoon Nanny/Family Assistant for Two School-Age Children in Noe Valley (early September)
Schedule: 30 hrs. guaranteed per week; Monday-Thursday 2:00 pm-7:00 pm, with additional flexible hours for family / personal assistance and babysitting
Salary Amount or Range: $40-45/hour D.O.E. + Standard benefits (paid vacation, sick days, holidays)

Start date: September 2nd

A sweet family in Noe Valley is seeking an engaging, intuitive part-time nanny/family assistant to help care for their two children ages 7 and 9 years old. Duties include driving the kids to/from school and activities, family laundry, preparing meals (simple family dinner, packing kids’ lunches, preparing snacks), light tidying, and errands. The best person for them has high emotional intelligence, connects easily with their kids, is engaging, and will prioritize their safety (especially in regard to driving).

If someone were open to occasionally joining them for a weekend trip in the Bay Area that would be a nice-to-have! They’d also love flexibility once a week until 9/10pm to cover a date night.

Experience Requirements

  • 2 years minimum experience working as a private nanny with verifiable references

Educational Requirements

  • Fluency in English


  • COVID-vaccinated + boosted

  • CPR Certified

  • TB and Tdap vaccines

  • Experienced valid driver with clean record – must be comfortable driving children – Family can provide vehicle for work-related driving

  • Emotionally intelligent and intuitive

  • Organized – can handle light calendar management

  • Prioritizes kids’ safety

  • Engaging, encouraging

  • Conflict resolution & clear communication skills

  • Driving; pick up children from school to home/activities
