Schedule: Tuesday -Saturday 8:30am – 4:30pm with occasional date night
Salary Amount or Range: $35-$38 depending on experience plus standard benefits
Children: 4 month old girl
Pets: old cat (hardly seen) and adoring terrier
Bay Area Region: South Peninsula

Description

Lovely parents in Half Moon Bay are seeking their Mary Poppins for their 4 month old daughter. They are looking to partner with nanny on researching and discovering best practices of early childcare development. The world is their child’s oyster and they want their nanny to explore and teach their little girl about the environment around them. They are excited to share the Pacific Coast with their child and all the bountiful gifts that nature teaches. The parents value a nanny who has devoted their education to chld deveopment and enjoys sharing their knowlege with them and relishes in the milestones of their little girl. The position will be in Half Moon Bay and then the family will eventually make Atherton their home base early next year.

Experience Requirements

A miminum of three years experience with verifiable references

Educational Requirements

Fluency in English
Fluency in a secondary language is a nice to have

Qualifications

Covid, TDaP, TB vaccines up to date
Current CPR
Valid Drivers’ license
Must have Car
Family is looking for a loving and engaging nanny.
A background in early childcare develoment is a plus
Organized
Great communicator
Flexibility in schedule would be nice

Responsibilities

Planning activities for different stages of development
Safe driver and comfortable driving to appointments and activities
Preparing bottles and eventually healthy home made organic meals for baby
Baby laundry
Light housekeeping for family when baby is napping
Light food prep for parents when possible
Not required but nice if nanny likes dogs and going for a walk with their fur baby
