Position: Big, Loving Family in Marin Seeks Split-Shift Nanny
Schedule: 25-30 hours per week; can be Mon-Fri or just a few days depending on candidates’ preference; see below for details
Salary Amount or Range: $40-$45/hour D.O.E. + Standard benefits (paid vacation, sick days, holidays)
Children: three girls: 3, 6, and 8 years old (+ a newborn boy with dedicated nanny)

Description
A super sweet family in Ross is seeking two nannies to assist with evening and/or weekend childcare for their three girls (ages 3, 6, and 8 years old). They also have a newborn with a dedicated nanny but occasional help may be needed. Responsibilities include preparing dinner for the children, helping with bedtime routines, engaging in play and planning fun activities, driving to/from school and activities, children’s laundry, and light tidying. Candidates should thrive in a big busy household, be comfortable working with a stay-at-home parent, and love dogs. The best person for them is fun, active, loving and patient. This is a great opportunity for anyone seeking a long-term commitment as the family will need help for the foreseeable future.
SPLIT-SHIFT SCHEDULE: The family is willing to be flexible with how the number of days this person works depending on their preference.
Monday-Friday (or just a few days) in the morning from 7-9 or 9-11a and in the afternoon 5-9p
Experience Requirements
- 2 years minimum experience working as a private nanny with excellent verifiable references
Educational Requirements
- Fluency in English
Qualifications
- TB and Tdap
- CPR Certified
- Valid driver with clean record (family will provide household car for work-related driving)
- Comfortable working with stay-at-home mom
- Loves dogs

Responsibilities
- Care for baby in the morning and as needed in the evening
- Preparing children’s meals
- Assist with post-dinner cleanup
- Helping with bedtime routines
- Engaging with the three older kids (baby will have a nanny until at least Jan 2026)
- Driving the children to/from school and/or activities
- Light tidying related to the children
- Children’s laundry
- Weekend support
