Position: Bubbly, Upbeat FT Nanny for Infant in Cupertino
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (flexible depending on candidate’s preference)
Salary Amount or Range: $37-$40/hour D.O.E. + standard benefits (paid vacation, sick days, holidays)
Children: Baby girl currently 5 months old
Pets: 1 x senior Yorkshire Terrier

First time parents in Campbell are seeking a bubbly, upbeat nanny to care for their baby girl (currently 5 months old). Responsibilities include planning age-appropriate activities, working on development, preparing bottles and baby-friendly meals, child laundry, light tidying, and occasional errands. The best person for them is energetic with a positive attitude, a safe driver, and reliable. Flexibility to travel is a nice-to-have as well (they take a few short domestic trips and one weeklong international trip each year).

Their proposed schedule is Monday-Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. but they are flexible and open to discussing fewer or more hours/days.

Experience Requirements

• 2 years minimum experience working as a nanny with excellent verifiable references

Educational Requirements

• Fluency in English
• Fluency in Mandarin or Korean (nice to have, not required)

Qualifications

• COVID-vaccinated and boosted + ideally staying current on the booster or willing to update it
• TB and Tdap vaccine
• CPR Certified
• Valid driver with clean record (household vehicle provided for work-related driving)
• Flexibility and willingness to travel (nice to have; typically 2 shorter domestic trips and about a weeklong international trip each year)
• Prior infant experience
• Bubbly, friendly disposition
• Energetic, upbeat, positive
• Excellent communication
• Reliable and punctual
• Can make at least a year commitment

Responsibilities

• Care for baby
• Engaging in reading, conversation, play, singing, etc.
• Planning age-appropriate actvities and outings
• Bathing the baby
• Child laundry
• Light tidying (nursery, common areas, play areas)
• Prepare, wash, sanitize bottles
• Prepare child-friendly meals and snacks
• Light errands
• Occasional date nights/weekends
