Position: Calm & Loving FT Nanny for Infant + Toddler in Palo Alto
Schedule: Monday to Friday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (flexible to increase hours to 40 if preferred)
Salary Amount or Range: $35-$40/hour D.O.E. (standard benefits: paid vacation, sick days, holidays)
Children: 3 month old and 2 year old
Pets: 1 x small friendly dog

A family in Palo Alto is seeking a warm, kind and engaging nanny to work alongside a stay-at-home parent caring for two children, ages 3 months and 2 years old. It’s very important for them to find someone COVID-conscious since due to their infant, so someone who is extra cautious and masking in indoor public spaces will be top priority for them.

This person will be responsible for all child-related care including planning and attending local outings with mom, children’s laundry, tidying children’s areas and common spaces, and preparing bottles for the baby or meals for their toddler. Ultimately the best person for them is calm, detail oriented, genuinely loves caring for both infants and toddlers, and is comfortable working with a stay-at-home mother.

Experience Requirements

• 2 years minimum experience working as a private nanny with verifiable references

Educational Requirements

• Fluency in English
• Fluency in Mandarin a plus but not required

Qualifications

• COVID protections very important – infant not yet eligible for vaccine
• Reliably wears masks in public
• COVID vaccinated + boosted
• TB and Tdap vaccines
• CPR Certified
• Experienced with both infants and toddlers
• Detail-oriented
• Calm
• Engaging
• Friendly and warm
• Can make a 1-year commitment (family open to slightly shorter commitment if preferred)
