Position: Collaborative Montessori Nanny for Infant in the Presidio (ROTA) [FILLED]
Schedule: ROTA 7 days on/7 days off 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Salary Amount or Range: $100-110 annually, D.O.E. + full health (medical, dental, vision)

Description
A family in the Presidio is seeking an experienced nanny to care for a 10-month old baby. This person will work in tandem with mom who enjoys being hands-on. Responsibilities include planning engaging activities that age appropriate, support baby’s development and help them reach milestones, and help with essential baby duties (changing, feeding, light tidying and child laundry). This person will also be responsible for packing for trips and traveling with the family a few times a year (both domestic and international).
The best person for them is gentle, familiar with the Montessori method, calm and collaborative, and who will structure play around baby’s interests. Someone outdoorsy who enjoys nature, is active and has both infant-toddler experience will be the best fit!
Experience Requirements
- 3 years minimum experience working as a private nanny with verifiable references
Educational Requirements
- Fluency in English
- Fluency in Spanish (preferred)
Qualifications
- Must be local and residing in the Bay Area
- COVID vaccinated
- CPR Certified
- TB and Tdap vaccines
- Valid driver with clean record (family can provide work vehicle)
- Strong understanding of the Montessori philosophy
- Must be comfortable with somewhat heavy travel throughout the year

- Taking baby to various activities
