Description
We are representing a Danville family of four in seeking a reliable, trustworthy, and proactive housekeeper to take full charge of household cleaning, organization, and maintenance. This role requires a high standard of cleaning, laundry care, organization, inventory management, waste disposal, outdoor maintenance, and household errands. The ideal candidate is efficient, discreet, fluent in English, and comfortable working in a household that follows the KonMari organization method. A professional attitude, attention to detail, and strong work ethic are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Full-Charge Housekeeping
- Perform daily and deep cleaning of the entire home.
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors throughout the house.
- Properly clean furniture, wipe down counters, and sanitize high-touch surfaces.
- Rotate deep cleaning tasks on a scheduled basis.
Laundry Care
- Wash, dry, fold, and put away family and household laundry.
- Make beds and change linens weekly and as needed.
Organization & Household Management
- Organize and maintain closets, pantry, and drawers.
- Maintain household organization systems.
- Continuously refine and improve household organization.
- Open packages, break down boxes, and return items to UPS when necessary.
- Unpack and organize groceries efficiently.
Bathroom & Kitchen Maintenance
- Clean and restock bathrooms with fresh towels, toilet tissue and essential supplies.
- Ensure surfaces, sinks, and appliances are cleaned and sanitized.
Outdoor & Exterior Maintenance
- Maintain the home’s exterior overall appearance.
- Clean and care for outdoor furniture and protective covers.
- Ensure entryways, patios, and outdoor areas remain tidy and well-kept.
Inventory & Supply Management
- Monitor and restock household supplies, ensuring necessary items are always on hand.
- Notify the homeowner of any items that need replenishing.
Trash & Waste Management
- Take out household trash and recycling daily.
- Take out large trash cans weekly.
Pet Care
- Provide daily care for a senior French Bulldog, ensuring comfort and well-being.
- Assist with potty breaks, and cleaning up after the pet.
Errands & Additional Tasks
- As needed, grocery shopping and household errands.
Communication & Language Skills
- Must be fluent in English.
- Able to communicate via text message for updates and requests.

- Reliable and trustworthy, with a professional attitude.
- Ability to work independently and anticipate household needs.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Discretion and respect for household privacy.
Dress Code & Appearance
- Required to wear in-home shoes provided by the employer while working.
