Description

A private residence in Atherton is seeking a meticulous, proactive, and discreet part-time Housekeeper to maintain the home to an exceptionally high standard. The ideal candidate has experience working in a higher end home, possesses a sharp eye for detail, and takes pride in creating a clean, organized, and serene living environment.

This role requires someone who is independent, trustworthy, and comfortable managing the day-to-day care of a high end property.

Experience Requirements

3 or more years of experience working in a private high end home with great references

Educational Requirements

Fluency in English

Qualifications

• Expertise in using proper cleaning techniques and products for fine finishes, delicate fabrics, and high-end appliances.

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated. Able to needs before being asked. Flexibility is greatly appreciated if need to help out at a family party.

• Strict adherence to privacy and confidentiality

Responsibilities

• Perform deep and maintenance cleaning of all interior spaces, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and living areas.

• Properly care for fine surfaces (marble, hardwood, custom cabinetry) and high-end furnishings.

• Handle daily laundry, minimal ironing, steaming, and organization of closets.

• Maintain tidy common areas, organize pantries/closets, and proactively manage household clutter.

• Occasionally greet and monitor specialized vendors (hvac, pest control, window washers) if on-site during shift.

• Monitor household supplies (cleaning products, paper goods) and alert the principal when replenishments are needed.
