Description

A growing family with two working parents in Dolores Park is seeking a nanny to care for their 4-year-old boy (in preschool during the day) and second baby due in June. Their current nanny will care be caring for the new baby when he arrives during the day, so they’re looking for a second nanny to support their eldest son’s development and morning, afternoon/evening routines for both children . Responsibilities include preparing toddler’s breakfast, packing his lunch and warming up dinner, driving to/from school and activities, managing the bath and bedtime routine for both children, laundry, light tidying, and other child-related ad hoc tasks.
Their ideal schedule is mornings (7-9 AM) and afternoons (3-8 PM) but they are flexible on the morning shift. What’s most important to them is flexibility to provide on-call availability to help during the day should their preschooler be home from school or if the other nanny calls out sick, they ask you cover both kids for the day (this is rarely needed).
The best person for them is someone engaged with a background in early childhood education who will intellectually challenge their preschooler and nurture his curiosities and interests, and provide a warm stimulating environment for their baby.
