Position: Educational Nanny/Family Assistant Needed in Los Altos
Schedule: Monday to Friday 12:30p/1:30p/2:30p – 6:30 p.m. (20-30 hours per week guaranteed depending on candidate’s preference)
Salary Amount or Range: $40-$45/hour D.O.E. + Standard benefits (paid vacation, sick days, holidays)

Description

A loving family in Los Altos is seeking a professional, smart and caring nanny to help care for their two children, ages 10 (boy) and 13 (girl) years old. Their children are fun and well-behaved. Their son is interested in fashion, music, fencing and playing the drums while their daughter loves art and drawing, riding horses, and cooking. The ideal candidate is comfortable helping with homework (5th and 6th grade currently), warm, and professional.

Responsibilities include picking up the kids from school, driving them to extra-curriculars, helping with homework, and engaging in play/activities. The core hours needed for childcare are Monday to Friday 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. If someone prefers extra hours, they can guarantee up to 30 per week with additional tasks such as tidying and organization, running errands, grocery shopping, meal prep and laundry.

Experience Requirements

• 2 years minimum experience working as a private nanny with excellent verifiable references
• Ability to help with 5th and 6th grade homework

Educational Requirements

• Fluency in English
