Schedule: Monday to Friday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Salary Amount or Range: $38-$40/hour D.O.E. + Standard benefits (paid vacation, sick days, holidays) + health stipend + discretionary year-end bonus

Description

A family in Tiburon with two children (ages 2.5 and 11 months old) is seeking an exceptional FT nanny. This person will be responsible for all child-related care and may at times have both children, so someone who is experienced with multiple children is ideal. The nanny may have one child, or may accompany the family on outings. They should be flexible and open to collaborating with parents and feel comfortable (like part of the family!).

This person must have ECE and/or Montessori certification/training. Their ideal candidate is warm, energetic, comfortable working independently and alongside parents, and can make a long-term commitment.

Experience Requirements

• 2 years minimum experience as a private nanny with verifiable references

Educational Requirements

• Fluency in English

• ECE / Child Development background required

• Preference for someone with Montessori training/certification

Qualifications

• TB, Tdap and COVID vaccinated

• CPR Certified

• Valid driver with clean record

• Someone who is used to dedicating 100% to the job

• Longevity with past families

• Experience in planning home activities for kids

• Educational background

• Truly loves kids

• Looking for a long term position; will be a part of the family as the kids grow and develop

• Must be willing to work occasional weekends as needed (for example, if they have a party and need someone to support their weekend nanny, they’ll need this person to be able to do so)

Responsibilities

• Plan fun, engaging age-appropriate activities

• Reheat meals and prepare simple snacks for the toddler

• Help with bottles, prep, washing children’s items as needed

• Children’s laundry (washing, folding, ironing)

• Light tidying

• Picking up after the children (toys and meals)
