Salary Amount or Range: D.O.E. $30-$35/hour LIVE IN, $35-$40/hour LIVE-OUT + standard benefits (paid vacation, sick days, holidays) + a health stipend

A family in Pac Heights is seeking a loving, educational nanny for their two children (9-month-old boy and 2-year-old girl). They are engaged parents and looking for a nanny to be a core part of their family. It’s important to find someone who will help their children learn in addition to caring fo the, so teaching or educational experience is preferred. Their daughter is in preschool from 9 a.m. to 3 pm. Responsibilities include caring for both children, driving to activities and assisting with drop-off/pick-up from school, engaging in fun age-appropriate activities and planning educational outings. Additional duties include children’s laundry, general tidying, and preparing children’s meals and snacks.

Candidates should have flexibility and willingness to travel within the US as well as internationally. The family takes 1-2 weekend trips and 1-2 weeklong vacations per year.

The schedule is Monday to Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The family would love to find someone who can help one 1/2 day on the weekends + occasional late evenings, but they understand not all candidates will have this availability and can be flexible for the right person.

The family is open to a live-in or live-out candidate. Accommodations are a private lower level with bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette (mini fridge, microwave), living room and private entrance.

Experience Requirements

• 2 years minimum experience working as a private nanny with excellent verifiable references
• Minimum 5-7 years experience working with young children including infants under 1

Educational Requirements

• Fluency in English
• Teaching or educational experience/credentials strongly preferred

Qualifications

• COVID-vaccinated + booster
• TB and Tdap vaccine
• CPR Certified
• Valid driver with clean record (family can provide household car for work-related driving)
• Flexibility and willingness to travel with the family
• Structured and values keeping child’s schedule consistent
• Flexible to work occasional date nights / weekends
• Open to traveling on vacation with family (family has no current plans to travel)
