Position: Experienced and Educational Nanny for 2-year-old in Redwood City
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00pm (with ~30 min flexibility on start time on either end of the day, for a maximum of 40 hours per week)
Salary Amount or Range: $35-$40/hour D.O.E. (standard benefits: paid vacation, sick days, holidays) + a health stipend up to $400/month
Children: 2 year-old daughter
Pets: 1 friendly German Shepherd
Bay Area Region: Mid Peninsula

Description

A family in Redwood City is seeking a loving, educational, and experienced nanny for their 2-year old daughter. Their ideal candidate has a background in Early Childhood Education or Child development, over two years’ experience as a private nanny, and is comfortable with parents working from home. Responsibilities include engaging with and planning fun activities around the Bay Area, attending classes, cooking and laundry for their child, and light housekeeping. They’d love to find someone who feels like part of the family and can make a long term commitment (at least a year or possibly longer)!

Experience Requirements

• 3 years experience working as a private nanny with excellent verifiable references

Educational Requirements

• Early Childhood Education / Child Development background preferred
• Fluency in English

Qualifications

• COVID-vaccinated + booster
• TB and Tdap vaccinated
• CPR Certified
• Valid driver with clean record (family can provide vehicle for work-related driving)
• Can make a long-term commitment, at least a year
• Feels like part of the family
• Active and can easily keep up with a growing toddler
• Comfortable with large dog in the home (no pet care required)
