Position: Experienced Family Assistant Needed PT in Sunnyside SF
Schedule: Monday to Friday 1/2 PM to 6/7 PM + ideally flexibility to help with date nights, weekends, or when kids are home from school
Salary Amount or Range: $43-$45/hour D.O.E. + Standard benefits (paid vacation, sick days, holidays)
Children: 4 and 7 years old

Description

A family in Sunnyside SF is seeking an experienced Family Assistant to care for their easygoing children, ages 4 and 7 years old, and help with household tasks. Responsibilities include pick-up from school, help with reading and math, preparing simple healthy snacks and meals for the kids/family, family laundry, and light tidying. The best person for them is someone warm and engaging who is proactive and experienced with both preschoolers and elementary-age children. Additional hours available for occasional date nights, weekends, and days when the kids are home from school.

Experience Requirements

• 2 years minimum experience working as a family assistant with excellent verifiable references

Educational Requirements

• Fuency in English

Qualifications

• COVID-vaccinated + current on the booster
• TB and Tdap
• CPR Certified
• Valid driver with clean record ideally with reliable vehicle for work-related driving (not a deal breaker); family will reimburse for gas
• Experienced with preschoolers and elementary aged kids
• Educational / able to assist with homework
• Warm, engaging, friendly
• Excellent communication
• Seeking a year commitment

Responsibilities

• Transporting children from school to activities/home
