Position: Experienced Genuine FT Nanny for Infant and Toddler in Alamo Square
Schedule: Monday – Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. (flexibility needed for occasional evenings and overnights)
Salary Amount or Range: $35-$40/hour D.O.E. + standard benefits (paid vacation, sick days, holidays)

A family in Alamo Square is seeking an experienced, engaging nanny to care for their two children, currently 3-months and 2.5 years old. Their toddler will be starting school in the fall (full days until 3 p.m.), so care will be primarily for the baby. Responsibilities include preparing bottles and meals/snacks for the children, children’s laundry, and light tidying. They’d love to find someone who proactively plans fun, educational activities and outings. Ultimately the best person for them is responsible, punctual, and genuinely enjoys being a nanny!

The family travels a few times a year and would love their nanny to be willing to join them. Travel will include about 1-2 weeklong trips (Hawaii, Europe) as well as a few local weekend trips to Sonoma.

Experience Requirements

  • 2 years minimum experience working as a private nanny with excellent verifiable references

Educational Requirements

  • Fluency in English


  • COVID vaccinated + booster

  • Tb and Tdap vaccine
  • Valid driver with clean record (family can provide household vehicle for work-related driving)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experienced caring for both infants and toddlers

  • Proactively plan activities for the children – new games, projects, outings, etc.
  • Help baby work toward developmental milestones
  • Prepare, wash, sanitize bottles
  • Prepare kid-friendly meals and snacks
  • Assist with transitions (solids, nap schedule, potty training, etc.)
  • Children’s laundry
  • Light tidying (children’s rooms, common/play areas, kitchen, load/unload dishwasher)
  • Occasional evenings or overnights
