Schedule: Monday to Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. + flexibility to start slightly earlier/stay later as needed
Salary Amount or Range: $35-$37/hour DOE + Standard benefits (paid vacation, sick days, holidays)

Description

START DATE: late September 2024

A family who splits their time between the Bay Area and Lake Tahoe is seeking an experienced, loving nanny for their infant son who will be 6 months in September. They are currently living in San Francisco but moving to Ross in January 2025. The nanny will live-out while they are in the Bay Area and live-in when in Lake Tahoe (they typically spend the summers and winters, and visit sporadically throughout the year).

Responsibilities include all child-related care such as tidying, laundry, feeding and preparing solids, planning activities, etc. Their ideal person is warm, engaging, reliable and seeking a long term commitment. They plan to grow their family so would love for someone to work with them for a few years.

LIVE-IN ACCOMMODATIONS WHEN IN TAHOE: Private bedroom + shared bathroom with baby

Experience Requirements

  • 2 years minimum experience working as a private nanny with excellent verifiable references

Educational Requirements

  • Fluency in English

Qualifications

  • MUST BE LOCAL AND ALREADY RESIDING IN THE BAY AREA
  • COVID-vaccinated
  • TB and Tdap vaccine
  • CPR Certified
  • Valid driver with clean record (family can provide household vehicle for work-related driving)
  • Experienced with infants
  • Warm
  • Calm
  • Reliable
  • Excellent communication
  • Can make a long term commitment, at least a few years

  • Walks to the park/playground, classes, etc.
  • Help baby meet developmental milestones
  • Light tidying
  • Prepare, wash, sanitize bottles
  • Prepare solids, snacks, etc.
  • Baby laundry
  • Assist with developmental transitions
