Salary Amount or Range: $35-$40/hour + standard benefits (paid vacation, sick days, holidays)

Description

A family in Mill Valley is seeking a nanny to care for their two children, ages 3 (girl) and 4 (boy) years old. Their ideal candidate is experienced with preschool and early-school age children, warm, and professional. Responsibilities include assisting the children with their morning and afternoon routines, preparing children’s meals and snacks, driving to and from school/activities, children’s laundry, and light tidying. The best person for them is looking for a long term commitment and genuinely enjoys being a nanny!

The schedule can be mornings or a split-shift: Monday to Friday 6:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. + 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Experience Requirements

• 2 years minimum experience working as a private nanny with excellent verifiable references

Educational Requirements

• Fluency in English
• Fluency in Spanish is a nice-to-have but not required

Qualifications

• CPR Certified
• Tb and Tdap
• COVID vaccinated + boosted
• Valid driver with clean record (family can provide household car)
• Experienced with toddlers and early-school age children
• Comfortable caring for siblings/multiple children
• Genuinely enjoys being a nanny
• Respectful of the family’s space; maintains professional boundaries
• Warm, loving
• Can make a long term commitment
• Excellent communication skills
