Aunt Ann’s In-House Staffing’s Client
Orinda CA
Job Type:
Full Time
Category: Childcare
Position: FT Nanny for Toddler in Orinda
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Salary Amount or Range: $35/hour D.O.E. + Standard benefits (paid vacation, sick days, holidays)
Children: 3 year old boy and newborn due in April
Pets: n/a
Bay Area Region: East Bay

A super sweet loving family in Orinda is seeking a caring, experienced full-time nanny to care for their 3 year old son. They are due with another baby in April, and plan to enroll their toddler in preschool, so this person could potentially care for both children at least part of the time, but not until mom’s maternity leave ends. Here is the tentative timeline:
• Now until August: Care for three year old (he will start preschool in August)
• August to October: Care mostly for newborn. Mom will still be on maternity leave, so during this time they will transition their toddler back to school and the baby into the nanny’s care.
• October into the future: Care for new baby girl

They’d love someone who is focused on development and will prioritize engaging with the children. Duties include all child-related tasks (preparing bottles and meals, laundry, and light tidying). Parents work remotely, so someone who is comfortable with parents around is a must.

The rate is $35/hour but if someone is open to helping with additional household tasks (cooking for the family, family laundry, light tidying) they are open to compensating $40/hour.
