A Bay Area family is seeking a dedicated Animal Care Specialist to provide exceptional care for their large energetic dog. The ideal candidate will possess high integrity, have a positive attitude, and be a team player. The candidate should be energetic, attentive to details, willing to learn and adapt, and physically fit. Experience with positive reinforcement techniques in dog care is a plus. Flexibility in schedule and a service-oriented mindset are crucial for this role.

Expectations:
- Flexible availability for evening and weekend schedules.
- Proven experience in animal care, especially with dogs, and general knowledge of dog behavior is preferred.
- Physically able to manage a large, strong dog with care, and engage in outdoor activities such as 2-hour daily walks and active playtime.
- Strict adherence to positive reinforcement training methods.
- Sensitivity to the dog’s personality and an ability to nurture a trusting relationship.
- Prior experience in private service settings is a plus.
- Within a 30-minute commute.
- Genuine affection for animals.
- Privacy and safety-minded at all times.
- Commitment to a 2-3 week trial period prior to permanent hiring.
- Clean driving record and careful driving skills while transporting the dog.
Responsibilities:
- Comprehensive care for the dog.
- Maintain the dog’s dietary and health routines.
- Safely transport the dog in their vehicle for outings.
- Ensure the dog’s safety and protection from hazards.
- Engage in outdoor activities including 2-hour daily walks, active playtime, and relaxation.
