Description

A fun, creative family of four with 2 elementary school boys (plus one cat) is looking for a dedicated, active, flexible family assistant to prioritize our boys and smoothly run and assist the household. We want to work with you to make our home a happy, vivacious place that supports the kids’ development and nourishment, as well as allowing mom and dad to thrive in work and life.

Experience Requirements

• Organized and communicative
• Flexibility
• Has their own car
• Teaching background in elementary education is preferred
• Clean driving record
• Loves to be outside and plan activities for children
• Independent, self-managing

Educational Requirements

• Fluency in English

Qualifications

• Reliable, punctual
• Ok with cats
• Valid Drivers License with clean record
• Reliable, punctual
• Minimum 2 years related experience working in childcare role/ personal assistant experience
• Flexibility to travel with family as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide childcare and support to the children in the afternoon hours
• Schedule and organize kids’ schedules, appointments and activities
• Meal prep for children
• Transport children to and from play dates, outings, and school
• Monthly date-night coverage for parents
• Light housekeeping
• Errands for family
• Keep family calendar organized with children’s activities
• Travel with family (likely 3-4 trips per year) and manage child care during those periods
