Position: Fun, Reliable PT Family Assistant Needed in the Mission
Schedule: Monday to Friday 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. (25 hours per week guaranteed) + occasional babysitting
Salary Amount or Range: $40-$45/hour D.O.E. + Standard benefits (paid vacation, sick days, holidays)
Children: 1 x 8-year-old boy going into 3rd grade

Description
A single mom is seeking a part-time family assistant for her 8-year-old son going into 3rd grade. They just moved to San Francisco from out of state and are looking for someone warm and upbeat to help him explore the city and assist with household tasks. Her son loves to skateboard, is well traveled, and is easygoing and down to earth so someone outdoorsy and adventurous will be the best fit.
Tasks include pick-up from school, planning fun after-school excursions, running errands, preparing simple dinners for the family, homework help, family laundry, light tidying and organizing. Mom would love someone with flexibility to occasionally babysit in the evening or on the weekend. Ultimately the best person for them is reliable, trustworthy, and knowledgeable about all that SF has to offer!
Experience Requirements
- 2 years minimum experience working as a private Family Assistant with excellent verifiable references
Educational Requirements
- Fluency in English
Qualifications
- TB and Tdap vaccinated
- CPR Certified
- Valid driver with clean record with experience driving children (family will provide a household car for work-related use)
