Salary Amount or Range: $38-$40/hour D.O.E. + standard benefits (paid vacation, sick days, holidays)

Description
A family in Mill Valley is seeking a full-time nanny to care for their infant (currently 6 months) and toddler (3 years old). Care is primarily for their baby, but care for their toddler will be needed when she is home from school such as during holidays/breaks and in the summer. They would love to find someone who will encourage the children’s independence, and plan fun art and baking projects. Responsibilities include planning age appropriate activities, driving to/from school and activities, child laundry, preparing kids’ meals, and light tidying. The best person for them is easygoing, resonates with gentle parenting and/or the Montessori philosophy, and is experienced caring for an infant and toddler simultaneously.
Candidates should be willing and flexible to travel as the family spends a week here and there in NY and Tahoe, as well as a month in Europe. A personal vehicle for work-related driving is also required (family will reimburse for mileage).
Experience Requirements
- 2 years minimum experience working as a private nanny with excellent verifiable references
Educational Requirements
- Fluency in English
Qualifications
- Covid-vaccinated
- Current on TB, Tdap and flu vaccines
- Valid driver with clean record and reliable vehicle for work-related driving (family will reimburse for mileage)
- Even keeled and easygoing
- Gentle discipline
- Flexible and willingness to travel both domestic and international (candidates should be passport-ready); trips can be a week here and there in NY, weekends in Tahoe, or a month in Europe
- Comfortable with stay-at-home parent
- Experienced with infants, preschoolers, and siblings; prior experience working with an infant and toddler simultaneously
- Familiarity with Montessori is a nice-to-have
- While the position is autonomous, candidates should be comfortable with stay at home mom popping in/out

Responsibilities
