Schedule: Monday-Friday 8-5 PM (some flexibility; family would consider 8:30-5 PM or 8-6 PM)
Salary Amount or Range: $38-$40/hour/hour D.O.E. + Standard benefits (paid vacation, sick days, holidays)

Description

A family in Pac Heights is seeking a gentle, reliable nanny for their 6-week-old daughter. Their ideal candidate is bilingual in French and English, knowledgeable about newborn and infant development, and brings a calm, supportive presence to their home. The nanny will be responsible for taking care of their daughter’s basic needs, promoting her development through play, and light baby-related cleaning (meal cleanup, laundry, tidying play areas and nursery, etc.).

Experience Requirements

• 3 years’ minimum experience working as a nanny including caring for newborns/infants with excellent verifiable references

Educational Requirements

• Fluency in English
• Fluency in French (strongly preferred)

Qualifications

• COVID-vaccinated + current on the booster/willing to update
• TB and Tdap vaccine
• CPR Certified
• Valid driver with clean record (family can provide a household vehicle if work-related driving is needed)
• Familiarity with SF
• Reliable and punctual
• Gentle and loving
• Experienced with newborns and infants
• Tidy and neat
• Knowledgeable in child development
• Excellent communication
• Can make at least a year commitment

Responsibilities

• Newborn/infant care
• Engaging in play
• Planning age-appropriate activities and outings for baby’s development
• Child laundry
• Preparing nutritious kid-friendly meals once baby starts solids
• Help with developmental transitions
• Light tidying (cleaning bottles, child’s bedroom, play areas, common spaces, etc.)
