Position: Gentle & Reliable FT Nanny Needed in Walnut Creek
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. (with flexibility to stay later as needed; work a date night once per week)
Salary Amount or Range: $38-$42/hour D.O.E. + Standard benefits (paid vacation, sick days, holidays)

Description
A family in Walnut Creek is seeking a gentle, reliable nanny to care for their two children (a newborn and toddler). Responsibilities include engaging with the children and working on developmental milestones, driving to/from school and activities, child laundry, preparing bottles and child-friendly meals, as well as light tidying. The best person for them is naturally calm and patient, organized, self aware and proactive. They’d love to find someone flexible and willing to do a weekly date night on Fridays, and candidates should have a reliable vehicle for work-related driving (nanny will be reimbursed for mileage).
Experience Requirements
- 2 years minimum experience working as a private nanny with excellent verifiable references
Educational Requirements
- Fluency in English
Qualifications
- COVID-vaccinated + current on the booster or willing to update
- TB and Tdap vaccine
- CPR Certified
- Valid driver with clean record and reliable vehicle for work-related driving (family will reimburse for mileage)
- Experience working simultaneously with an infant and toddler
- Patient and kind
