Position: Growing Family in SF Seeks Dedicated 24/7 ROTA Nanny
Schedule: 24/7 ROTA 7 days on / 7 days off (Tuesday to Tuesday; live in during “on week”)
Salary Amount or Range: $35/hour ($200,000/year) with paid sick leave, cell phone reimbursement, and medical, dental, vision, and life insurance for the employee (no dependent)

Description
A warm, loving household in the Bay Area is seeking a dedicated 24/7 ROTA nanny to join their team and provide exceptional care for their toddler, 7-year-old, and 3rd baby due in August. The family values a positive, upbeat presence focused on learning and having fun. Responsibilities include planning age-appropriate activities and local outings, preparing simple balanced meals, child laundry and light tidying, as well as running household errands (dry cleaning, package returns) or other ad hoc requests from the Chief of Staff or Estate Manager. Someone with a calm and easygoing energy will be the best fit.
This position requires previous experience working as a live-in and/or ROTA nanny. The family travels domestically and internationally a few times a year so flexibility and willingness to travel (domestic and international) is required. Candidates should be current on vaccinations including the COVID booster, a strong communicator, and detail-oriented. They’re looking for a nanny professional who’s extremely proactive, skilled at reading the room, highly flexible, and takes feedback well.
Position requires flexibility to work with 48 hours notice during off weeks, and nannies must notify when they are traveling outside the area during off weeks.
Experience Requirements
- 3 years minimum experience working as a private nanny with excellent verifiable references
- Prior ROTA experience

- CPR Certified
- Valid driver with clean record with reliable vehicle for work-related driving

Responsibilities
- 24/7 childcare
- There will be a 20 hr / day NCS on site for 5 months after the third baby arrives
- Work with co-nanny in caring for the kids; there will be times when one child is napping or maybe one nanny takes both children to an activity. In these instances there may be some minor household tasks here and there such as tidying around the home, picking up from the dry cleaner or PO Box, etc.
- Plan age-appropriate activities; engage in play and learning focused on children’s development and milestones
- Provide a nurturing and educational environment
- Prepare and feed all meals and snacks for the children
- Light housekeeping pertaining to the children (laundry; tidying the bedrooms and play areas; cleaning kitchen after meals; etc.)
- Light household duties: run and unload the dishwasher, take out the trash throughout the day, tidy common spaces.
- During the period before the baby arrives and until the NCS rolls off in January 2027, they anticipate there will be many periods of down time for the nannies in particular when the older child is with his mother and only the 20 month old is present with two nannies. Nannies should be prepared to assist with PA type tasks and errands as requested by the Chief of Staff and/or Estate Manager during these periods.
