Salary Amount or Range: $40-$45/hour D.O.E. + Standard benefits (paid vacation, sick days, holidays)

Description

A family in Menlo Park is seeking a kind, reliable nanny to care for their 18-month-old and help with light household tasks. Responsibilities include engaging in play and planning age-appropriate activities, organizing child’s toys/items, light meal prep and simple cooking for the family, light tidying, and family laundry. The best person for them is someone proactive with a pitch-in attitude, who genuinely loves working with children and supporting families. Nice-to-haves include fluency in Spanish and flexibility to travel 1-2 weeks per year.

Experience Requirements

• 2 years minimum experience working as a private nanny with excellent verifiable references

Educational Requirements

• Fluency in English
• Fluency in Spanish (nice to have)

Qualifications

• COVID-vaccinated
• TB and Tdap vaccine
• CPR Certified
• Valid driver with clean record
• Pitch-in and proactive
• Warm, kind, engaging
• Reliable
• Comfortable with parent working remotely
• Willingness to travel 1-2 weeks per year (nice to have)
• Can make at least a year commitment

Responsibilities

• 80% nanny + 20% mother’s helper
• Engaging with toddler in play
• Planning age-appropriate activities for development
• Organizing child’s toys and play areas
• Light tidying including kitchen, common areas, and child’s bedroom
• Light meal prep/ simple cooking for the family
