Position: Knowledgeable & Dependable Infant Nanny Needed FT in Glen Park, SF (mid-September)
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (40 hours guaranteed + flexibility to occasionally stay later)
Salary Amount or Range: $38-$42/hour D.O.E. + Standard benefits (paid vacation, sick days, holidays)
Children: 1 baby girl
Pets: 2 x small dogs (7-lb Pomeranians)

Description
Start date: mid/end of September
First time working parents in Glen Park are seeking a loving, experienced full-time infant nanny for their baby girl who will be 7-months-old at the end of September. Responsibilities include planning age-appropriate activities, engaging in play, preparing bottles and baby-friendly solids, child laundry, and light tidying . A nanny who is active and enjoys being outdoors and planning daily outings/adventures around the city will be the best fit.
Their ideal candidate is knowledgeable in child development, engaging, and reliable. Finding someone dependable and punctual is very important to them. The parents would love someone who can grow with their family as the plan to have a second child in the next few years.
Experience Requirements
- 2 years minimum experience working as a private nanny with excellent verifiable references
Educational Requirements
- Fluency in English
- Fluency in Spanish (nice to have, not required)
Qualifications
- COVID-vaccinated + current on the booster or willing to update
- TB and Tdap vaccine
- CPR Certified
- Valid driver with clean record
- Comfortable using public transportation with young children; family prefers nanny use PT (they live very close to BART) but can provide a household car for activities that are harder to get to
- Enjoys being outdoors with baby and planning age-appropriate activities / adventures around the city
- Punctual and reliable
- Active
- Experienced with infants 6 months+
- Has longevity with previous families (2-3 years minimum) and is looking for a long term commitment and grow with the family
Responsibilities
- Plan engaging, age-appropriate activities geared towards baby’s development
- Taking baby on daily outings (music classes, library, museums, the zoo, parks and playgrounds)
- Help with developmental transitions (introduce solids, getting on a schedule, etc.)
- Prepare bottles + solids for the baby when the time comes
- Light housekeeping pertaining to baby (keeping the nursery, common areas, and play areas neat and tidy)
- Child’s laundry
- Letting the dogs out into the backyard as needed
