Description

A family in the Inner Richmond is seeking a wonderful, positive nanny for their newborn daughter currently 7-weeks-old. Mom is on maternity leave until March 2024 so they are seeking PT help for now (20 hours per week) and will transition to FT (40 hours per week) next year. Mom works remotely and loves to be involved so they’re looking for someone who is comfortable helping with child-related tasks if she has time to take the baby.

Ultimately the best person for them is upbeat, relaxed, reliable and genuinely loves being a nanny and supporting families!

Experience Requirements

• 2 years minimum experience working as a private nanny with excellent verifiable references
• Newborn experience required

Educational Requirements

• Fluency in English

Qualifications

• COVID-vaccinated + booster
• TB and Tdap vaccine up to date
• CPR Certified
• Valid driver with clean record (family can provide household car if available, otherwise can reimburse for mileage if nanny uses their own)
• Comfortable with parent working from home
• Flexible to occasionally come in earlier/stay later
• Reliable

• Genuinely loves being a nanny and supporting the family

Responsibilities

• Childcare-related:
  • Engaging with baby
  • Helping baby meet milestones age-appropriate development
  • Washing, sanitizing, preparing bottles
  • Helping with transitions (solids, sleep schedule and daily routine, etc.)
  • Baby laundry
  • Light tidying (nursery, common/play areas)
