Position: Loving, Educational Nanny for Infant and Toddler in the Inner Richmond
Schedule: Monday – Friday 7 or 8 AM to 3 or 4 PM (flexibility needed)
Salary Amount or Range: $40-$45/hour D.O.E. + Standard benefits (paid vacation, sick days, holidays)
Children: 5-month-old boy and 3-year-old girl
Pets: 1 x small dog

Description
A very sweet, loving family in SF is seeking an educational, engaging nanny for their 5-month-old son and 3-year-old girl who attens preschool part-time. Responsibilities include planning age-appropriate outings and activities for the children, child laundry, light tidying, and preparing bottles and kid-friendly snacks and meals. Most importantly they are looking for someone who will be focused on introducing their children to new experiences, museums and classes, and help them explore the world around them. Their ideal candidate will be part of their family for years to come, prioritizes their children’s development, and takes a play-based approach based on their interests.
Experience Requirements
- 3-5 years minimum experience working as a nanny with excellent verifiable references
Educational Requirements
- Fluency in English
- Background in Early Childhood Education (preferred)
Qualifications
- COVID vaccinated (booster not required)
- TB and Tdap
- CPR Certified
- Valid driver with clean record and reliable vehicle for driving the child to activities (family will reimburse for mileage)
- Experienced with newborns
- Focused on development and making sure child’s needs are being met
- Takes initiative for planning activities

- Must be comfortable with parents working from home and overlapping with another afternoon nanny who helps them part-time
Responsibilities
- Engaging with toddler and baby
- Helping children meet milestones age-appropriate development
- Prepare kid-friendly meals and snacks
- Working on developmental milestones
- Light tidying (children’s rooms, common spaces. and play areas)
- Children’s laundry
When family is out of town, the nanny may be asked to come in to help with the following tasks:
- child-related organizing and cleaning
- child-related cooking/meal prep
- light household tasks (e.g. letting a contractor in, post office, watering plants)
