Position: Loving, Experienced Bilingual (Eng/Sp) Nanny for Infant in San Mateo
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. (some flexibility to start a little later/end earlier)
Salary Amount or Range: $35-$40/hour D.O.E. + standard benefits (paid vacation, sick days, holidays)
Children: Baby currently 3 months old
Pets: 1 x older terrier

Description
A family in San Mateo is seeking a loving, experienced nanny for their 3-month-old son. Mom is returning to work in March and would like someone who can start full-time in late February to ensure a smooth transition (some flexibility to start sooner for the right person). Responsibilities include engaging with their baby, planning age-appropriate activities (everything is in walking distance!), preparing/washing bottles, assisting with developmental transitions, child’s laundry, and light tidying.
Their ideal candidate is bilingual in Spanish and English, knowledgeable and friendly, and brings ideas to the table while also respecting parent preferences. Ultimately the best person for them will help their baby explore the world around him and be an active participant in his development.
Experience Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of professional nanny experience with excellent verifiable references
Educational Requirements

Bilingual in English and Spanish

Valid driver with clean record (family will reimburse for mileage for work-related driving; there is a possibility they may be able to provide a household vehicle)
