Position: Loving, Nurturing FT Nanny Needed in Kentfield for 3 Young Children

Salary Amount or Range: $43-$47/hour D.O.E. + Standard benefits (paid vacation, sick days, holidays) + health stipend
Children: 1 and 3 years old + baby due late October
Pets: 1 friendly adult Golden Retriever

Start: early May or June
A growing family in Kentfield is seeking a loving, nurturing nanny to provide care for their children: ages 1 and 3 years old, and a baby due in late October. Responsibilities include planning age-appropriate play and outings, driving to activities, children’s laundry, preparing bottles and kid-friendly meals, and light tidying. This person will usually care for the two older children, but should be comfortable caring for all 3 as needed (especially when baby gets older).
The best person for them is someone patient, kind, and comfortable working alongside a stay-at-home mom. Their ideal candidate is flexible, a good communicator, and confident caring for multiple children simultaneously. Candidates should have a reliable vehicle for work-related driving (family will reimburse for mileage).
Experience Requirements
- 2 years minimum experience working as a private nanny with excellent verifiable references
Educational Requirements
- Fluency in English
Qualifications
- COVID-vaccinated
- TB and Tdap vaccine
- CPR Certified
- Valid driver with clean record and reliable vehicle for work-related driving (family will reimburse for mileage)
- Very patient with toddlers
- Comfortable caring for multiple children simultaneously
- Warm, loving
- Comfortable working alongside mom who is stay at home parent
- Excellent communication
- Can make at least a year commitment
Responsibilities
- Childcare for the two older children; but should be comfortable caring for all 3 children as needed
- Assist with drop-off / pick-up for nursery school and activities
- Engaging in play and planning activities
- Children’s laundry
- Cooking for the kids
- Preparing, washing, sanitizing bottles
- Light tidying – kids’ bedrooms, play areas, common spaces
