Position: Nurturing and Easygoing PT Nanny for Family in San Carlos
Schedule: Tuesday to Friday 2:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. (20 hours/week guaranteed; family can be flexible up to 30 hours/week if more hours preferred)
Salary Amount or Range: $40-$45/hour D.O.E. + Standard benefits (paid vacation, sick days, holidays)

Description
Start date: August 5th or as late as early September
A family on the border of San Carlos and Redwood City is eagerly seeking a nurturing and reliable nanny to join their family starting this August. With three adorable, funny children aged 5, 7 and 8 years old they require assistance with pick-up from Nueva School in Hillsborough, light meal preparation and tidying, as well as homework support. They believe in fostering a warm and supportive environment for the children, and are excited to welcome a caring individual who shares their values. The best person for them will help foster their children’s independence, show them respect, kindness and how to be a good human being. They know they’ll need help for the next 8-10 years so they’d love to find someone who can make a long term commitment, but at minimum at least a year!
Experience Requirements
- 2 years minimum experience working as a nanny with excellent verifiable references
Educational Requirements
- Fluency in English
- Fluency in Vietnamese (not required; nice to have)
Qualifications
- COVID vaccinated
- TB and Tdap vaccine
- CPR Certified
- Valid and safe driver with clean record and reliable vehicle (family may be able to provide a car for work-related driving or can reimburse for mileage)

Responsibilities
- Picking up the children from school
- Driving to enrichment/sports a few days a week
- Assisting with homework
- Light meal prep/cooking for the kids
- Light cleaning (kids rooms, common areas, kitchen/dining area after meals, loading/unloading the dishwasher)
- Children’s laundry
- Help foster the children’s independence; supporting the kids in picking up after themselves
