Position: Organized Nanny / Family Assistant Needed in Cupertino / Palo Alto
Schedule: Monday to Friday 7a-9a + 2:30p-7/8p (or if someone prefers just PT in the afternoons, they are open to that)
Salary Amount or Range: $45-$53/hour D.O.E. + Standard benefits (paid vacation, sick days, holidays)
Children: 5, 13, and 14 years old

Description
A family in Cupertino is seeking a nanny / family assistant to help with childcare for their three children (ages 5, 13, and 14 years old). Their kids go to school in Palo Alto and get out between 2:30-4 p.m. Duties include the morning routine (preparing breakfast and drop-off at school), running errands, light tidying/organizing, vegetarian meal prep/cooking (mostly for the kids), children’s laundry, and after-school pick-up / driving to activities and home.
The schedule is a split shift 7a-9a and 2:30p-7p/8p depending on afternoon activities. Their ideal candidate is comfortable with light cooking (Indian vegetarian preferred, but American vegetarian is great too), organized, and comfortable juggling kids’ changing schedules. If someone prefers just PT in the afternoons, they are open to that vs. the split shift.
Experience Requirements
- 2 years minimum experience working as a nanny / family assistant with excellent verifiable references
Educational Requirements
- Fluency in English
Qualifications
- COVID-vaccinated
- TB and Tdap vaccine
- CPR Certified
- Valid driver with clean record (household vehicle provided for work-related driving)
- Patient
- Organized
- Experienced with elementary – teens
- Comfortable juggling kids’ schedules
- Excellent communication
- Can make at least a year commitment
Responsibilities
- Driving children to school/classes (household car provided)
- Daily light vegetarian cooking / meal prep (Indian vegetarian preferred; American vegetarian is great too) / mostly for the children including lunches and dinner
- Daily light cleaning and tidying around the house
- Kid laundry
- Grocery shopping
- Managing the kids’ schedules
