Position: Organized & Sociable PT Family Assistant Needed in Woodside
Schedule: 25 hours/week Monday to Friday 2 or 3 p.m. – 7 or 8 p.m. (depending on candidate’s preference)
Salary Amount or Range: $43-$47/hour D.O.E. + Standard benefits (paid vacation, sick days, holidays)
Children: 10, 11, 13 and 15 years old
Pets: no pets

Description
A family in Woodside is seeking an organized, proactive family assistant to help with childcare and household tasks. They have four children (10, 11, 13 and 15 years old) and another nanny who helps care for their youngest. The family assistant will be responsible for driving the children from school to activities, helping manage the family calendar and emails related to the children, running errands, light tidying, simple meal prep and cooking for the family, and family laundry.
The best person for them excels at time management, enjoys working with tweens/teens, is sociable, and tech savvy!
Experience Requirements
- 2 years minimum experience working as a family assistant with excellent verifiable references
Educational Requirements
- Fluency in English

- CPR Certified
- Valid driver with clean record (household vehicle provided for work-related driving)
- Flexible and adaptable
- Sociable
- Connects easily with tweens/teens
- Excellent time management
- Organized and tech savvy
- Good communication
- Can make at least a year commitment
Responsibilities
- Driving the children from school to activities; coordinating sometimes with mom when she is available
- Help with organizing and scheduling activities, doctors appointments, birthday parties, and other events
- Help manage the family calendar
- Running errands (post office, dry cleaning, grocery shopping)
- Communicating with school, tutors, etc. via email
- Helping with laundry and reminding children to put their clothing away
- Light tidying
- Assist with simple meal prep and cooking for the family
- Occasional overnights when parents are traveling
