Position: Outdoorsy Nanny / Family Assistant for 3 Young Children in West Menlo Park
Schedule: Monday to Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Salary Amount or Range: $65-$75/hour based on experience with health, vision, dental and 401k matched up to 3%

Description
A family in West Menlo Park is looking to hire an additional nanny / family assistant to help care for their three children under 4 years old. Parents enjoy being hands-on with the kids, so there will be several hours of downtime each day to help with household tasks in addition to standard childcare responsibilities such as running errands, wrapping gifts, organizational projects, etc.
Candidates must be local and highly reliable with flexibility to stay later on occasion or come in on a weekend if needed. The kids are extremely active and are outside all day so they would love to find someone active who enjoys being outdoors, rain or shine. Someone who likes to stay busy and support the household, and has a “see something do something” attitude will be the best fit.
Experience Requirements
- 2 years minimum experience working as a private nanny / family assistant with excellent verifiable references
Educational Requirements
- Fluency in English
Qualifications
- Fully COVID vaccinated (including booster)
- TB and Tdap vaccines
- CPR Certification
- Valid driver with clean record (family can provide vehicle for work-related driving)
- Knowledgeable in all stages of development and milestones
- Long term experience working for private families
- Willingness and flexibility to occasionally travel with the family
- Comfortable working with hands-on parents at home
- Comfortable being outside rain or shine
- Professional
- Must love cats! A “cat person” is ideal!
Responsibilities
- Planning and engaging in age-appropriate activities
- Spending time outdoors
- Driving to/from activities and play dates
- Child laundry
- Preparing children’s meals
- Running errands: grocery shopping, dry cleaning, stocking the pantry, wrapping gifts, ad-hoc tasks
- Organizational projects
- Light tidying (children’s rooms, common areas, play areas, etc.)
