Description

We are representing private family in a 10,000 sq. ft. multi-level home is seeking a detail-oriented, trustworthy, and warm housekeeper
The ideal candidate understands how to care for fine finishes, luxury textiles, antiques, and high-value artwork with care and discretion. You will maintain a seamless home environment for a busy family of four (with a tween and teen), work alongside an afternoon private chef, and serve as a reliable house watcher during summer travel periods.

Schedule: 3 days per week (Monday and flexible other 2 days). Can offer 2 additional days for a full time schedule if willing to clean their parents second home nearby. 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm.
Parking provided at the residence

Experience Requirements

5 + years of experience working in a private home with great references

Educational Requirements

Fluency in English

Qualifications

• Physical Stamina: Ability to comfortably navigate a multi-level estate (up to 4 levels without an elevator).
• Personality & Professionalism:
• Warm, respectful, and observant personality.
• High Discretion: Utmost respect for family privacy; operates smoothly in a semi-formal yet warm and casual family dynamic.
• Attentive & Present: Engaged while on duty (no personal calls/AirPods while working).

Responsibilities

• Provide thorough, detailed cleaning and ongoing maintenance for a large, multi-level 10,000 sq. ft. home.
• Maintain fine finishes and delicate surfaces using specialized care techniques
• Surfaces: Marble counters, hardwood floors, wallpaper
• Furnishings: Luxury fabrics (cashmere, velvet, silk/wool carpets), fine antiques, and contemporary art.
• Manage house-sitting and contractor oversight during extended summer travel periods (monitoring vendors and scheduled home maintenance)
• Handle daily family laundry, bedding, and linens using high-end washers and dryers (two on 2nd level and one on basement level)
• Manage high-end clothing care and prepare items/dry cleaning to be sent out as needed.
• Maintain a seamless, quiet workflow around parents who are in and out of the home and a private chef who operates in the afternoons (4x/week).
• Ensure the residence remains organized, immaculate, and serene.
