The family is looking for a September start **

Schedule: Flexible 20-25 hour shift options within a 7:30 AM – 7:00 PM window. E.g 7:30am-12:30pm or 1pm-6pm etc.

We are representing a Pacific Heights family of 4 in seeking a proactive, highly organized, and multifaceted Family Assistant to help keep their busy household running smoothly. This is a hybrid role blending daily family logistics, light toddler-friendly meal prep, household organization, and occasional child pickup from school. The children has a full time nanny and 18 month goes to daycare.

They also have a regular house cleaner for deep cleaning; however, their ideal scenario is to find a stellar candidate to handle daily upkeep of high traffic areas such as living room and kitchen.

Experience Requirements

2 or more years of experience working in a private home with great references

Educational Requirements

Fluency in English

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Family Assistant or Household assistant

• Warm, reliable, and comfortable stepping in for light childcare (daycare pickups and short transitions back at home).

• Valid driver’s license with an excellent record; comfortable operating an electric vehicle (Tesla).

• Ability to confidently whip up fresh, uncomplicated, kid-approved meals.

Responsibilities

• Handle weekly grocery shopping directly from a provided list, manage dry cleaning drop-offs and pick-ups, and tackle miscellaneous household errands.

• Assist with afternoon daycare pick-ups as needed. A Tesla Model 3 will be provided for all work-related driving and child transport during shift hours.

• Prepare simple, wholesome, and toddler-friendly family meals.

• Help pack nutritious lunch boxes and snacks for the next day.

• Maintain the daily cleanliness of the kitchen and dining room (wiping down counters, managing the dishwasher, clearing living surfaces).

• Keep children’s play and toy areas systematically organized and tidied.

• Manage daily family laundry, including washing, folding, and putting away clothes and linens.
